Kota: Paradise for IIT JEE Aspirants

Kota, a small town in Rajasthan, is Mecca for IIT JEE aspirants. Almost half of IIT JEE pass outs are from training institutes in this city. What is so unusual in Kota that it gives 50% of students to IIT? Let us see.

Don’t know since when Kota is a key centre of attraction for IIT JEE aspirants. But, it is the primary place for IIT JEE preparation. Nearly, all major coaching institutes have opened a division here in recent times. Every year thousands of students from every location arrive here to undergo a course for IIT JEE.

Kota is a major source of revenue for the state government. So, the state government maintains the environment to help out the aspirant study. The city has too molded itself to facilitate the aspirants. The noise pollution is very low. Particularly, we could find this in those areas where students live in bunch. Hostel and mess facility is easily accessible. So, overall in Kota you can find peace of mind which is must to concentrate on study for such a tough examination.

The institutes in Kota have a different admission procedure for the students than most other of the places. The students who are fresher for IIT JEE or repeaters with poor ranks are asked to write an exam. By this they sort students in order of their intelligence. Repeaters with average ranks are taken directly in A level batches. This process of classification facilitates the students to study in a group with almost same IQ level classmates. In the class, there is no one enough genius to misleadingly encourage the teacher to maintain a fast teaching pace inappropriate for everyone. This let the students to grasp the conceptwithout doubt. But, there is not just win-win for every student. Teachers allotted to the classes are in order of intelligence. Best teachers to the most intelligent batch. Worst teachers are assigned to the dullest batch.

The classification system of students brings best for the sharp students. They get the best teachers. They grasp the concept very rapidly. So, gets more time for practice sessions. They are the best conversion chance for the institution. They have the talent which could result in high-ranking in IIT JEE. So, institute gives them discount in tuition fees. Some time nearly full waiver. They are future advertisement campaign for the institute. Hence, best support in every manner is provided to them by the institute. All these make them the winner in the system.

Now, for the average level students, they are very much around IIT JEE pass level. These students get either the experienced, but just about fine teacher or the new teacher who is estimated to be excellent. We can simply say they don’t get the best, but next to the best, i.e., good teachers. As with some labor on them there is a chance for success. They too get a bit discount in the fees. The pace of teaching is normal for them. They have sufficient time for practice session. Also, some of the students from these batches are probable’s to qualify IIT JEE. Most of them secure a good seat in AIEEE or regional exams. So, they too have a lot of hope from Kota to get success.

Now, for the below average or dull students, they pay full tuition fee and gets the worst or newest teachers. It takes a lot of time for them to understand a concept. That too is erasable with time. So, till the course ends they forget many concepts taught in opening stages. Also, get less time for practice session. They are abundant in number. So, overall they are the main fund source for the institute. Generally speaking, they are the losers of the system who pays the largest part and gets nothing.

Institutes of IIT JEE are not merely in Kota. Other locations for these institutes are New Delhi, Varanasi, Patna and various other cities of India. But, these locations are full of coaching, but don’t get full support from locales or government. The environment there is not peaceful. It is not simple for students to find mess or hostel facility.

As in the past few years institutes like FIITJEE, Brilliant, ALLEN, Narayana, Chaitanya, Vidya Mandir, Akash and many others had expand their centers. One can now find recognized institutes in every parts of India. But, this has not altered much in the number of students coming to Kota every year. Let’s see why?

Few years back, many famous institutes have opened their centers in various cities of India. Now, as the number of these centers have grown-up from nowhere to a lot. These institutes need teachers in a large quantity. So, these institutes, apart from searching quality teachers across India, prefer local teachers. Those who are engaged in IIT JEE tuition for years, but they are not earning handsome amount. Now, as these institutes have a very high fee compared to that in earlier structure of IIT JEE coaching in that particular city. Teaching cost for students has increased and has come very much closer to what they need to spend in Kota. Also, they are not getting best teachers. So, by just hardly any more expense one can go to Kota and get good teachers and environment. Those who can afford and thinks they have chance to succeed in IIT JEE prefer to go to Kota. So, even though these institutes have spread their wings, importance of Kota is the same.

One may easily see Kota have a lot of distinct features, which make it a hub for IIT JEE preparation. There could be no doubt if we say that Kota is paradise for the IIT JEE aspirants.
